“When I was a child, my family and I were often on the move. We even lived in Burundi and Sweden before I moved to Italy 15 years ago. I like living here because you can have a good job and make a decent life.
“Although I knew the Italian language and was familiar with the culture when I moved here, it was not easy to be accepted by the local people at the beginning. But then people get to know you better and forget where you are actually from.
“It’s funny when people tell me I look Italian. I never know whether to take it as a compliment or an achievement like “good! I made it, I look Italian!”
“In the end, I have to say I don’t feel Greek or Italian. These countries have no boundaries for me."
